Overview

In 1923, the Comptoir des Mines et Grands Travaux du Maroc commissioned Marius Boyer to build its head office, as the carved Salé stone panels on the façade record. The composition of this corner building is underlined by the arcaded gallery of the fourth and top floor. Its stone friezes and medallions, between Art Nouveau and Art Deco, recall early twentieth-century Viennese buildings. It belongs to a street lined with buildings from the 1920s and 1930s, from Neo-Classical to Modernist.
