Built in 1930-1931 by Xavier Rendu and Pierre Ponsard for the La Nationale company, this apartment building faces Place Mohammed V and the Arab League Park. Its thirty generously sized flats open onto deep loggias framed by brown stone columns. The functionalist ensemble keeps Art Deco touches in the wrought-iron balconies and the entrance doors studded with brass cabochons. Its rounded corner, crowned by a rotunda, gives it the look of an ocean liner at the start of Boulevard Hassan II.
