Overview
On the corner of Boulevard Rachidi and Rue du Parc, this building houses the Casablanca School of Fine Arts, founded in 1919 at the initiative of the painter Édouard Brindeau de Jarny. In the 1960s, under Farid Belkahia, with Mohamed Melehi and Mohamed Chabâa, the school became the home of the “Casablanca School”, which renewed Moroccan modern art by drawing on craft and popular traditions. The building has been listed as national heritage since 2023.
