Overview

On Place des Nations Unies, at the corner of Boulevard Mohammed V, this fifteen-storey building houses the head office of BMCI. It was built from 1947 to 1950 to designs by the architect Alexandre Courtois and reflects his 1943 urban plan, which gave a large role to tall buildings. Its façades on the square and on the boulevard were renovated in 2005, with green marble cladding and sun-breakers on the upper floors.
